| Description | Controllers are not altered in Angular Momentum's Freehand 1.0 when exporting to WAV. They are handled properly when editing and playing back (i have only used PCEs with this VSTi), but saving to WAV format does not apply PCEs to the controllers. Here's what i tried (each of these had no effect after testing):
- I switched absolute PCEs to sliding PCEs, in case Freehand had a problem with receiving messages from a host on the first tick.
- I moved PCE calls to off-rows in case other VSTi events may have affected the message sending for Freehand.
- I tried the slow render option, which took nearly an hour for a five-minute song.
- Solo-rendering the track that uses this plugin, without the rest of the instruments.
What i have not tried:
- Substituting macros for PCEs.
- Routing Freehand from Chainer as host, using Chainer's CC controllers.
We are unable to properly render our lastest song because of this bug, even though it plays fine from MPT. And since i can't get my computer to record playback from itself, i am unable to save the correct audio of this song.
As a side note, the GUI window for this plugin often does not respond on the first click. It often takes 2 or 3 mouseclicks to take input focus. |
