Description | One thing I liked about old trackers was the fact you could easily generate samples, say from text (for example of this in open-source software, check out Schism Tracker). In my opinion OMPT would benefit from that as you will be able to generate basic waveforms on the spot and even more complex if Schism's method of generating samples from strings of text would be implemented. | ||||

Err, Schism's method is not "complex". It literally just interprets the text you enter as bytes, i.e. it does exactly the same thing like OpenMPT's sample draw feature, except that it's more convoluted. |
