Summary | 0001858: Something about s3m channel types
Description | So I'm not really sure what it is, but from the gist I got from cs, would it be possible if the channels were panned all the way to the right or left, and there's not more than 8 of each kind, to try setting the correct channel type in sb?

Has the bug occurred in previous versions?
Tested code revision (in case you know it)
No, OpenMPT deliberately uses a particular channel order rather than trying to assign "meaningful" SB panning channels. This is because ST3 evaluates all "left" channels first, and then all "right" channels. This has implications for how global commands on different channels on the same row interact with each other. If we mixed left and right channels, there is potential for ST3 playing the file differently compared to all other players. |
