As of r22116 there is now a hidden setting, "Pattern Editor.AutoHideVolumeColumnForMOD" to enable this behaviour. It is not applied to formats that are merely imported as MOD (e.g. SoundTracker modules), because they might still be using the volume column. |

Also other module formats should be load as ProTracker MOD mode |

It's not possible at this point. Several formats are imported as MOD but use the volume column. At the time we decide whether to show the volume column or not, we can no longer know what the original format was. |
