No, this is vastly out-of-scope for OpenMPT and even for libopenmpt or openmpt123. |

Besides, this is already possible in OpenMPT, because it's a feature of the standard file dialog in Windows: You can paste any URL supported by Windows Explorer / Internet Explorer into the file browsing dialog, and Windows will automatically download and open the file. |
