Summary | 0001327: PumaTracker Format | ||||

Are there more example songs out there that use this format? Also a bit more documentation regarding the format would be useful, there's no info regarding supported commands and what they do or sample formats in the text file you've linked. |

Hi StarWolf3000, I've attached a zip file containing modules from a few games. Please focus the Toki songs as they're pretty simple (the first one, puma.toki1, is only a 23 seconds looping song). This should help a bit. Maybe someone can progress so far that I can rip at least the samples. :) |
Oh, my little request is still living and maybe almost fulfilled? :) |
It's making progress. The format is quite tricky (as the small filesize might indicate), using some scripted synth instruments - but it's a good excuse to finally add that feature to OpenMPT as it is helpful for other formats like OctaMED as well. |
Implemented in r20583. Note that PumaTracker instruments use a tiny scripting language, which allows sample pitch, volume and waveforms to change on the fly. This is not visualized anywhere in the OpenMPT GUI. |
