Has the bug occurred in previous versions? | I think not
Tested code revision (in case you know it)
Please zip and upload the .dmp file(s) from the path that you can see in your screenshots. |
Ok, thanks. This was the last crash i made |
Please upload also any other dmp files that might have been created, with this one I am not quite sure what is going on. |
There are some older crashes, these are not all |
Here is the rest, this is all i can send today. |
I do not quite see yet what is going wrong here, but I see some people complaining about similar crashes in other software due to a Windows component (CompPkgSup.DLL) since a few days. Just to be sure, please run Windows Update to ensure that you are using the very latest version of Windows 10, in case there is already a patch available. |
If updating doesn't work, here is another thing you can try: Disable the file preview pane in Explorer / Open File dialogs. What I think is that Windows tries to create a preview for the .mod files in this folder, because .mod also happens to be the file extension for some video container format. If you can prevent Windows from creating this preview, maybe it won't crash anymore. From my current understanding, there is no OpenMPT code involved in the crash. |
Another possible solution might be to uninstall KB4013429 for the time being, but only if updating (and in particular installing KB4015438) doesn't help. |
Ok, so windows doesn't know that the .mod file is shared by the ultimate tracker AND the camcoders AND a bunch of other stuff... |
I am not angry, by the way. |
Thanks for the information, by the way |
It would also be good to know if any of the proposed solutions helped. |
Theresa are 2 updates, and the problema got fixed, however the crash occured whenever a file using the mpeg2 library. |
Was visualised. |

Also, i Need to disable the autocorrector, i hate chatting with a s |
Okay, so I guess we can close this issue? :) |
You Can tell me how to do that? |
I will do it. :) Thanks for the report and do not hesitate to report any further crashes you may find! |
