| Summary | 0000859: Keyboard Short Cuts don't get removed / deleted | ||||
| Description | I don't know if it's a question for the forum or even an already discussed issue but: I try to remove/delete the shorts cuts in: Pattern Editor - Order List > Previous, next, first and last order (cursor up,down,left,right). This is only saved in the actual Open MPT instance & session, but it isn't saved when I close and re-open OpenMPT. Other deleted short-cuts are saved. So this speaks against a write-protection of a cfg-file or something. How is that possible? Or do I something wrong here? Thanks for your reply! | ||||

OpenMPT automatically adds the default key set to every key map. You can prevent a default key from being assigned by mapping it to another command. In particular, if you want a default key to do nothing, you can map it to the "Dummy Shortcut" available in the "Global keys" category. |

Indeed, this works, great, thanks! This way, I've also learned what the Dummy Short cut is good for. :) |
