Description

Add the ability to implement Surround on individual notes without disrupting the standard Left/Right panning, by adding an S command to the Volume column.

Additional Information

For instance, s32 would be the standard IT-style Surround that we are familiar with, where the sample panning is forced on 128, but if you were to set it as s16, then the sample would be panned halfway to the left without breaking the Surround. If instead set to s48, then it would be panned halfway to the right, but again would retain the Surround functionality with the right channel being inverted-phase to the left channel.

There's no need for a separate command as there's already S9B to enable panning in the rear channels: http://wiki.openmpt.org/Manual:_Effect_Reference#Sound_Control

And if I was ever to modify OpenMPT's surround support, it would not be in favor if yet another hack on the existing horrible and hard-to-use surround facilities (front/rear panning) but rather true 3D surround like in reViSiT (360° panning). Modifying the existing surround mode is not going to help anyone.
