| Summary | 0000669: Remove all instruments (convert to samples) leaves some instrument data intact. | ||||
| Description | It seems that the feature "Remove all instruments (convert to samples)" under the Edit/Cleanup menu will leave instrument data (vibrato settings) intact. I have not tried if other inappropriate data is left intact as well. (I wanted to use this feature to clean up an xm before using other software to convert it to mod) | ||||

Well, as you can see, the vibrato settings are part of the sample view, because that's how it works in IT. Just because you edit an XM, this fact doesn't change anything internally, and in fact, if you were to re-save your XM file, OpenMPT would have to write out instruments again anyway. |
