Summary0000621: Problem with editing keys in text fields on the "Samples" tab
Description

Certain keys are not working correctly in edit fields on the "Samples" tab. For example, try using Delete, Backspace, or letters which are assigned to notes in the name/file name edit fields. I believe their native functions are being overridden by the assignments in the keyboard settings. This problem does not occur on the "Instruments" tab.

Unable to reproduce, and this should not happen since edit fields are always "protected" from custom shortcuts. Are you sure that the edit fields are focussed properly and actually editable (e.g. the filename field is not editable in MOD and XM files)?

Yes I have MPTM configured as the default format in the INI file and I do not use those module formats. Also as I said, the problem does not occur in these fields on the "Instruments" tab.

When did the problem start happening for, then? No related code has been changed recently (or even non-recently).

Sigh. Never mind this one may be my fault. I have been using some AutoHotkey scripts for switching keyboard focus more quickly in certain parts of OpenMPT. It seems that when I use AutoHotkey to switch focus into those fields on the "Samples" tab is when the problem occurs. If I use the mouse functionality of my screen reader to click into the name/file name fields, the problem does not occur. Still interesting though since I have been using these scripts for quite some time now and never experienced this problem. Feel free to close this one since the problem does not seem to be caused by OpenMPT. My apologies.
