Summary0000444: Preset wave export's meta-data
Description

When you make a wave export, there now is a field for "Author", "Title", etc...

I already know that the Author field on my pc will always be LPChip.

And when I work on an album, Having the ability to preset these fields would also help me out a lot.

Additional Information

XMPlay is perfectly capable of picking these tags up from the .wav file, so its nice if they were inserted properly. It would also save me some time when converting the .wav to .mp3 as I can then copy the tags directly from the .wav to the .mp3 and make adjustments where necessary.

TagsNo tags attached.

Tagging information should now be remembered across multiple invocations of the export dialog.

Is this also present in the 1.22.07.00 version? Because it is not working there.

Did you see it in the changelog? Hint: No. 1.22.07.00 was a pure bugfix release. As always, new features can be found in the testing version. http://sagagames.de/stuff/mptrack.exe

This is not present in 1.22.07.00. 1.22.07.00 was an unplanned bugfix release directly based on the 1.22.06.00 source.
Remembering wave export settings is based on a major rewrite of the internal settings handling code that was merged directly after the 1.22.06 but did not get (and will most probably not be) ported back to 1.22.
I forgot updating the version information for this issue in the bug tracker, sorry for the confusion caused. This will only be in 1.23 (or current testing versions, as saga_musix noted).

LPChip, can you please test whether this works as intended for you?

Seems to work like a charm. :)

The only thing that might want to be added (although it is not related to this suggestion, but its in the same dialog) is to remember the checkmark for the clear plugins tail before export. I always set it on, and it'd be very convenient if its checked by default because I checked it last time.

But other than that, it works great, and you may consider this ticket solved, unless you want to make the change for the "clear plugin tail" and let me test that too in this ticket.
