Modplug creates entirely new patterns rather than pasting the ones copied to clipboard That's not a bug, that's a feature, because copy&paste is meant to be used between different modules. If you want to insert exactly the same sequence of pattern numbers, use the Insert key, which will do exactly that. also the 'estimated song length' DOES NOT update when doing this The estimated song length is re-calcuated automatically every time you query it. It is therefore impossible for it not to update because of certain actains. Maybe you pasted your patterns past the song end indicator ("---" in the order list) or there is a pattern jump somewhere in the module which makes it jump back to the first pattern before it can reach the song end? You can easily find that out by playing the module once and checking the actual song length before it reaches the first pattern again. |
