loaded wav files that have low bit rates especially ones from a 1997 wav sample CD are silent when loaded into Modplug
open modplug load or create new module load an old low bitrate wav file from the 1990's into modplug under instruments
effect: no sound or wav sample is present.

That file uses Microsoft ADPCM compression. OpenMPT does not support compressed WAV files. There should be plenty of audio converters available that can convert such files to uncompressed WAVs.
