Summary0000340: Multiple OKs
Description

While creating a sample-based instrument, in which multiple samples were used, i was able to use the Open File dialog to import several samples all at once. Unfortunately, because i was overwriting an instrument that until then had used a plugin, i was prompted for each loaded sample if i wanted to discard the plugin assignment. I was hoping an Alt-click on the OK button would help, but it doesn't take.

Would like to see an OK ALL button in this (and any batch) dialog, or implement use of the Alt-click to apply the same answer for every popup prompt.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Create or load an MPTM track.
  2. Create or load in instrument in the Instruments tab.
  3. Go to the Samples tab and click on the "Import Sample" icon. The standard Load File dialog will appear.
  4. Select multiple samples, and click OK.
  5. For each sample loaded, you will be prompted if you want to assign an instrument to it. This is what i'd like to streamline with "Yes All" or "No All".

I don't think I understand the issue, mainly because I am not aware of a "discard plugin" prompt. Can you please clarify each step you do and in which tab you do it? Do you load samples from the sample or instrument tab?

The particular case i'm talking about occurs when you open many samples with one dialog in the Samples page. I wrote up a test case up in the "How to Reproduce" section above.

I may have misspoke what prompt occurs in the original report, but this is the one i'm talking about...

Well, now that's completely different from the original question. Since the default message boxes in windows don't offer a "Yes, All" button, I guess a simple enough fix would be to just apply the first message box to all loaded samples. I think that covers most use cases well enough.

r5680 now modifies the behaviour so that the question is only asked once for a batch of samples, and then the same action is applied to all samples.
