IT files created with BeRoTracker play perfectly here. Are you sure that BeRoTracker actually stored any samples in the IT file, to begin with? Does the module play as intended in BeRoTracker?

it plays fine in BeRo Tracker... and I noticed, no BeRo didn't store samples for the midi instruments... just instruments...

Well, then it's obviously not a problem with OpenMPT -> closed.
You probably forgot to turn on "Full MOD Convert" in the MIDI convert dialog in BeRoTracker.

I thought that would just convert it to .mod format (which I don't want)... I will check it again...

See, I've tried this myself and it didn't crash or anything, it worked perfectly. If you don't provide a test case, I cannot help you. So upload the module in question which you think crashes OpenMPT so I can verify what it does.

I cannot upload it it!! I ALWAYS get a "File type not allowed for uploads" error!!! it is an .it file!!!

....how about zipping it or uploading it somewhere else? Is clever thinking really that hard?

well I already deleted it... I discovered BeRo wrote a corrupt module!!! it wouldn't open in BeRo even!!! same with all .it files saved from BeRo... XM files work just fine...

BeRoTracker writes perfectly valid modules here. But then again, this is not the place to ask for help with BeRoTracker so this issue will remain closed.
