| Description | While conducting song fadeouts with Wxx, i realized i can't monitor the module's global volume like i can tempo changes or ticks per row. I'd love to see a Volume readout in the Main toolbar or the Status Bar so i can monitor where i'm at based on the cursor or playback. UPDATE June 2019: Maybe a Current Global Volume graphic can be shown in the Main toolbar as well, such as the max volume in the L/R meter. Attached is a mockup of a possible solution... | ||||

Implemented in r22127. I went with a slightly different approach: The global volume is now shown like the other numeric properties. As it adds quite a bit to the width of the toolbar, the rows per beat are no longer shown by default so that the toolbar works at 1024 pixel width. However, all of those custom controls in the toolbar can now be toggled via the context menu, so people with a large enough screen can bring the rows per beat display back as well. Once I am able to fix the dynamic layouting of the toolbar, I might bring the control back by default. |
