Summary0000246: Note Properties dialog should somehow still be available
Description

With 1.20, you can now toggle the double-click behavior in the Pattern Editor. The default behavior is that double-clicking opens the Note Properties dialog so you can set the params for the whole row in that channel. The NEW option is that you can choose instead to have a double-click in a given channel instead select the whole channel.

Although it's rare, i still use Note Properties for various FX commands, as they generally offer some assistance without having to open the manual to find the effect i'm looking for. But once you set the "Double-click selects whole column" option, there is NO way to access the Note Properties dialog. There should be.

I would like to see either an extra menu item in the PE contextual menu, OR a menu item in the Edit menu to show the Note Properties window, in those rare circumstances i need it.

You can still map the note propreties dialog to a keyboard shortcut (by default it's bound to the Menu key).

Oo, good to know. As long as it's available, i can adjust the CHM/OHM for this behavior.

Close this FR if you don't plan to change anything else concerning this option.

I guess this can be closed then?

Yes, close it. I found the shortcut, and i've already addressed this in the upcoming OHM Reference. It's all good here...
