My brother started using Modplug Tracker yesterday and we talked about music creation (My brother is a music major.). He brought up a good point that makes sense. If rows are trackers' equivalent to a bar on sheet music (as when counting beats (1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4)), it does make sense to start them at one rather than zero. If the zero starting point is derived from use of the hexadecimal, then starting them at one may indeed be odd. Perhaps starting the rows at one will be considered in future builds.
