Summary | 0001926: Since 1.32.* muted channels seems not to be saved in the song
Description | When saving a song which have muted channels with openmpt 1.32.*, they are not properly restored when reopening the song afterward.
Steps To Reproduce | I have done a simple test to confirm this: i created an empty song using openmpt 1.31.05 with 4 channels (i could have used 2... anyway) and muted 3 of thoses channels. Then tried with both 1.32.01 & 1.32.04. I have even tried to reopen the song saved with 1.32.* with 1.31.15, and same, muted channels are not anymore.

Has the bug occurred in previous versions? | Yes, from 1.32.01
Tested code revision (in case you know it)
Over the years there was a large number of complaints that changing channel mute status modifies the module. Several modules were accidentally spread by their authors (e.g. to sites like ModArchive) with channels muted, while this was not their intention. You can get the old default behaviour back by changing the hidden setting Misc.SaveChannelMuteStatus to 1. |
