While doing some composition, i had a folder dedicated to the samples that i was using for a particular track. I had to go thru every sample individually and create a new sample slot in MPT, about 2 dozen total. Since these were one-shots, i then needed to load them into a single multi-sample instrument and go thru each note on the Sample Map.

What could have made this job much easier would be a Bulk Load function. I envision an icon in the Smaples page icon bar which opens a Select Folder dialog. When the user chooses a folder, MPT searches for all readable sound files in it and creates one sample slot for each.
Bonus feature: Perhaps when Shift-clicking the Bulk Load icon, an instrument slot is also created which loads each sample in its own note (starting perhaps at C-5) and also designates that every assigned sample play at C-5, no matter what note it's assigned to.
