Summary | 0001819: Overwrite sample, applying high-pass filter
Description | Hello. A feature that I'd like to request is a button on the sample tab, similar to how time stretching and pitch shifting are currently done, that would open a dialog asking for frequency, resonance and mode, and apply the high or low pass filter with these parameters to the sample, overwriting the sample with the result, with an option to undo. I know the MIDI macros feature that switches between high-pass and low-pass modes on the instrument that apply live while the song is playing. What I describe is a sample-focused destructive counterpart (probably simpler to implement as no changes in the format are necessary) to this instrument-focused non-linear editing feature.

Tested code revision (in case you know it)
There's the idea to have a tool in the sample editor to do the same with plugins, e.g. to bake a reverb effect into a sample. This could probably combined in a way so that this feature also allows internal DSPs to be applied to the sample. |
