This extreme case requires four key presses

This can be reduced to two by pressing Tab followed by Left Arrow (or the other way around by Shift+Tab and Right Arrow), so all cells are no more than two consecutive key pressed apart.

Having separate shortcuts for going to a specific column can still be beneficial though, not only to speed up horizontal movement but also to make sure that the cursor is in the correct column before starting to live-record some notes, for example. So I'll see what can be done.

I've added the new shortuts in r21113, soon available from https://builds.openmpt.org/builds/ - They are in the general pattern context, named "Go to note column" etc. Please let me know how they work for you as they haven't been tested much.

There was a problem with some overlapping key command IDs, so r21116 or later should be used. The already-assigned keyboard shortcuts will be lost when upgrading.
