Summary | 0001779: An undo button for VSTs
Description | Often, I have a VSTi sound I like but I want to turn some knobs and tinker with it more. The limitation is there's no undo button to go back. You have to save the song before tinkering, then reload it if you want to go back. I'm not sure how DAWs deal with this, but an Undo (CTRL + Z) button for VSTs would be immensely useful. I suspect this is a limitation of the VST standard since some plugins have their own undo buttons in the GUI.

duplicate of | 0000949 | new | Undo for plugin state |
It's not easily feasible because the VST API has no explicit way of doing this. Closing as there is a duplicate issue that is equally unlikely to be implemented. |
