If you don't want to use colors, you can disable them for newly created files: https://wiki.openmpt.org/Manual:_Setup/Display#Default_Channel_Colours Compared to the other options that can be disabled, the color strips take away virtually no vertical space, so it doesn't make any sense to remove them. |
