The concept is once you have selected something in te pattern editor, 1 channel or many, 1 row or many, you have an option in the right click menu to export selected or in other words instead of having to make a whole new pattern to export a note or series of notes you can export the selected notes as if you had done that with the whole export dialogue and all the options therein.
