|Product Version||OpenMPT 1.28.06.00 / libopenmpt 0.4.6 (upgrade first)|
|Summary||0001259: Add multiple samples from tree|
Would like to streamline the process of adding a sample from the sample pane into a track. There are quite a few clicks involved with previewing a sample, then creating a new slot for it, then going back to the sample and adding it into the empty slot.
If we can just add a menu item to the context menu in the treeview when selecting one or more samples (such as "Add sample(s) to track"), MPT could simplify the process of creating new sample slots and adding them one-by-one.

You can already use Ctrl+Enter (load into current sample slot) or Ctrl+Shift+Enter (load into new sample slot). The only thing missing is being able to load more than one sample at a time, I guess?
No that's minor. Close this unless you're working on multiple loading.
Well, I did start and realized that it would be a rather complex feature to add as the treeview is not really prepared for handling multi-selections, but that is not a valid reason for closing the issue.
Well, i tried the keyboard shortcut you suggested and that answered the reason for the post. So as far as i'm concerned, it's all good!
