Summary0001071: Playback Row cursor disappears on high latency
Description

When using ASIO with any buffer latency, and you select an OpenMPT Latency of 250, if you then playback the pattern, the playback row selector thingy disappears after showing the first row.

If I set the latency to a somewhat high number, the row flickers. A low latency and there are no problems.

If I set the latency to 200ms then every so many rows, I see the play line appear for a fraction of a second. I tested this with many different songs and settings, including an old .S3M file.

This does also happen with Wasapi, but in that case, the player row just flickers a lot.

I even set the device to Wasapi HDMI and it was the same.

Steps To Reproduce

Set the latency in Soundcard setup to the highest value and then play the pattern and look at the playback row indicator.

I should add, its not just the highlighting that has trouble. Also VU Meters update slowly.

I think it has something to do with being able to allocate system resources. I am now using WASAPI with 50 latency and 20 period, and for some odd reason, my CPU can't handle it (CPU usage somehow keeps raising the longer OpenMPT is open, and if I close and reopen the program, the cycle restarts) But when I get to the point where it starts to get out of breath, the hi-lighting also starts to go wonky (as in: it flickers, its not smooth)
