| Summary | 0000909: "Friendly names" for MIDI ports | ||||
| Description | MIDI I/O ports typically do not have meaningful names, either named after the soundcard they are build into, or some kind of consecutive numbering on multi-I/O devices. There should be an option to replace those names by user-defined "friendly names". | ||||
| Additional Information | As a first step, we could add a new INI section with mappings from old to new names, e.g. [MIDI Input Ports] | ||||

Available as a hidden setting as of r7491. A GUI (maybe a simple "Rename" button in the MIDI config) may be added later. |
