Well, it's intended behaviour for mouse navigation, but I cannot distinguish between mouse and keyboard selection there... Hard to come up with a clever solution that would both satisfy mouse and keyboard users.

Would it be possible to have the dialog open after keyboard focus moves away from the list or would that affect mouse navigation as well? It is slightly inconvenient, but if you can't think of a solution that works don't sweat it.

Windows doesn't distinguish between keyboard and mouse focus, that's the problem.

I've tried a very basic hack that works as long as the mouse is never being used to open the plugin list (which I assume is true for you). In that case, the auto-dialog feature shouldn't kick in. You can download an updated executable from the plugin bridge thread.
