Summary0000489: Sample preview too loud, checking "No loud sample preview" doesn't work
Description

Hello,
I use OpenMPT every day for professional use, I liked the features added in the last version but now the previewed samples are playing too loud, and the "No loud sample preview" doesnt work anymore. It's very annoying because I'm forced to turn my speakers volume down each time i want to listen to a sample (wav xi iti samples from sample directory or DLS and SF2 banks are all playing too loud).

Setting the preview volume to half-volume would be MUCH better. The best would be adding a volume slider in the options menu, or a value in openmpt's INI file so the user could tweak this

Steps To Reproduce

Play any sample from GM.DLS and compare to the volume once added to the song

You know, by "using the issue tracker" I didn't mean that you should create a new issue here after I already handled the topic on the forum. ;)

Oh sorry I havent checked the forums :) I tried your build it's MUCH better now, thank you !! (will this feature stay in the next releases?)
