Summary | 0000403: Disable save when a module is not marked as modified
Description | Over time I use to accidentally hit the save button or the shorcut. This will modify original modules and stamping OpenMPT its signature, Disabling save feature when is not needed should be more "safe" in this circumstances.

How should OpenMPT know that the file was not e.g. modified (or deleted) on disk, a case in which you would definitely want to save it despite not being modified in OpenMPT? If you are so concerned about not touching your files, enable backup (.bak) creation so that you can restore them if in doubt. It's a useful functionality anyway. |
