In the future, please use the Help and Questions forum (https://forum.openmpt.org/index.php?board=20.0) for such questions.
No. libopenmpt provies a stable API, and in order to maintain that for future releases, we would have to keep supporting any features that we add basically forever. For OpenMPT, the additional questionable options were alredy there, so we are somewhat stuck with them. The additional interpolation options that OpenMPT did historically provide are not actually useful, and almost always only confused users. If you use a modern OpenMPT version (I am not even sure which version your screenshots are from, it is certainly ancient (<1.30), so please upgrade), you will see that the interpolation options are reduced even there (they are still available for anyone who really wants them in https://wiki.openmpt.org/Manual:_Hidden_Settings#[Sound_Settings]). |
