Summary | 0001478: Use NNAs for Retrigger (Qxy) command
Description | When a note is retriggered using the Qxy command in IT/MPTM, the old note will always be cut instead of using the instrument's New Note Action. I would like there to be a compatibility flag for IT/MPTM files to make Qxy commands use the proper NNA instead of always cutting the old note (The cutting should still be the default option though, so that new modules will be compatible with older OpenMPT versions by default, and that older modules are still played "correctly").

Has the bug occurred in previous versions? | Yes (but it's not a bug, just a feature request)
Tested code revision (in case you know it)
In IT this is definitely not going to happen; only in MPTM. We cannot just change the IT semantics and hope that other players follow. |
