Summary0001471: User-defined default value for Instrument "Fade Out" value
Description

Every time I create a bunch of new instruments (usually by pressing "New Instrument" and going through the "Convert existing samples to instruments first?" dialogue), I go through each of them and change the Fade Out value from 256 to 0, as I do not like having to press the Escape key to stop a note from playing while adding notes to a pattern. I think it would be good to either change the default value of this field to 0, or make it a user-defined default value.

Alternately, it might be good to have all instrument settings be saveable via some kind of "Save as Default" button, though I imagine that's less feasible.

If this is too minor a problem to work on, that's alright, this is just a minor inconvenience I have to go through every time I start a new project.

Steps To Reproduce
  • Add a few samples to a new project
  • Go to the Instruments tab and click Insert Instrument
  • Click "Yes" on the "Convert existing samples to instruments first?" dialogue
  • Fade Out is automatically set to 256

I don't think that setting a Fade Out value of 0 is necessarily the best solution to this issue (the fact that it instantly stops the note in the pattern editor itself is already a workaround because technically it should play the note forever, i.e. never fade out) - maybe allowing for different note-off modes in the pattern editor (similar to how there are different note-off modes in the sample editor) would be a better solution, as that would be independent of how maybe previously existing instruments were configured.
