| Description | Have an option to split a pattern into 2 (32, 32) with x2 spacing. Much more economical when dealing with multiple patterns if you want to convert them to x2 speed.  | ||||

	 Note that if it's only for a handful of patterns, you can now (as of r12015 / OpenMPT 1.29.00.27) split a pattern into two and then manually expand the pattern contents. Maybe this helps? See issue 0000238 for details.  |

	 I just had another idea for solving this elegantly - rather than disabling the Expand/Shrink Pattern buttons in MOD/S3M, they could be repurposed to provide the same functionality as in other formats, but
