Summary0000010: New sample loop type: Reverse Loop
Description

This loop type would be something between normal loop and bidi loop: When it reaches the loop end, it will play the sample backwards. When it reaches the loop start then, it will jump back to the loop end again.

would this be an openmpt hax or is this an actual IT feature that impulse tracker had or does the .it format currently support this

Neither; it would be an MPTM-exclusive feature. It's in fact already implemented for other formats, just not accessible form the UI.

There are some legacy formats that support it; you cannot edit it, but those modules play correctly with reverse loops.
