Summary0001047: Record password
Description

I'm not sure how smart this sounds (or if it's even possible), but do you think you could add a record password you're able to set on multiple formats? I think it could come in handy if, for example, I'm AFK and my younger sibling tries to screw up my song, or if someone got a hold of my files in some way. I'm not begging you for this, it's not urgent, but I'd like to know if that would be convenient in some way.

Completely out of scope of the project. If you are afraid that someone could tamper with your computer, then lock the whole session (Win+L), instead of every single applcation you care about (you can also set up Windows to lock the session automatically after some idle time). If you are afraid that someone can steal your files, encrypt your hard drive using BitLocker or VeraCrypt, etc.
There is no reason at all why this should be done in OpenMPT (or any other application that is not security-sensitive) instead of the operating system level where it's already possible.
