If you work with a project that has many many samples and/or instruments and you want to make a massive change, it can be very time consuming if you need to perform a specific action on all samples/instruments.

For example, I had a song that used old Impulse Tracker instruments, and because of that, all 79 instruments had their panning check set with a value of 128. I wanted to use the channel pannings and they were ignored because of the instruments setting, so I wanted to search/replace, find any instrument that has the panning check set and value of 128, and replace it with: uncheck this checkbox. But there's no search/replace feature... So here's the request to make one. :)
